Expansiveness

Medium: Oil on Canvas
Size: 70 × 50 cm
Year Painted: 2026

Expansiveness is an original oil painting that explores the quiet power of stillness and inner growth. A yellow rose unfolds at the center, symbolizing renewal, presence, and the beginning of something new. Set against a blue background representing openness and authenticity, the work becomes a meditation on allowing — where true expansion emerges not from force, but from trust.

The process of Painting "Expansiveness”

There are moments in the creative process that do not begin with action, but with stillness.

Expansiveness emerged from one of those moments — a quiet inner necessity to pause, to soften the mind, and to allow space for something new to take shape. It was not about searching for an idea, but about creating the conditions for one to arrive.

In that stillness, I began to understand that expansion is not something we force. It is something we allow.

At the center of the painting, a yellow rose unfolds. It holds a presence that feels both gentle and certain — a symbol of joy, renewal, and the beginning of something not yet fully defined. There is no urgency in its opening. Only trust.

The background, built through layers of white and light blue, reflects a sense of vastness. It evokes the openness of the sky or the depth of the ocean — spaces where boundaries dissolve and expression becomes possible. Blue, for me, represents authenticity: the freedom to exist fully, without resistance.

What emerged in this work is a quiet dialogue between form and openness. The rose, grounded and present, exists within a field that feels infinite. Together, they suggest that true growth happens when we are both rooted in who we are and open to what we are becoming.

This painting marks a personal transition — a moment where I felt a shift from control to trust, from effort to allowance. It is a reminder that when we create space within ourselves, something new can begin to unfold.
