In the Flow
Medium: Oil on Canvas
Size: 50 x 50 cm
Year Painted: 2025
This original oil painting captures the delicate movement and rhythm of daisies as they sway gracefully in the breeze each spring. With every brushstroke, I sought to recreate the natural dance of these flowers.
The process of Painting "In the Flow”
There is a state of being that the Taoist philosophy calls “flow”—a way of living where action feels effortless, where you are in harmony with the natural order of the universe, and where you are deeply present in the moment.
It’s a state of letting go.
Of trusting.
Of allowing life to unfold naturally, without forcing it.
When you are in the flow, you stop trying to control every detail and instead move with the rhythm of life itself. You align with what is, rather than struggle against it.
This painting was born from that exact feeling. For me, the symbol of this flow is the gentle dance of daisies swaying in the breeze each spring.
When the wind moves through a field of daisies, there is no resistance—only grace. The flowers lean, bend, and sway in perfect harmony with the air around them. The sun warms them, the breeze carries them, and they simply move as they are meant to.
I wanted to capture this in my painting. To translate that delicate movement and quiet rhythm into color, light, and form.
With every brushstroke, I aimed to recreate the natural choreography between flower, wind, and sun. I focused on movement, on softness, and on the feeling of freedom that comes when you surrender to what is.
It’s not about daisies alone—it’s about being in tune with the flow of nature, and ultimately, with your own rhythm.
This piece is a reminder that life has its own pace and beauty when we allow it to unfold. Just like the daisies in the wind, we too can find our grace when we stop resisting and start flowing.
with love,
