From Doubt to Canvas

The Story Behind Standing Tall

As I stood in the Botanical Garden in Padova on an early spring day, my eyes met this majestic Magnolia tree—and in that moment, my heart knew I needed to be like her.

That day, I was emotionally struggling—filled with doubt, fear, confusion, and insecurity. And yet, there she was, standing tall in the middle of the garden. It was early spring, and she hadn’t bloomed yet, but she held no hesitation, no doubt about what she was meant to become or the beauty she carried within.

She reminded me of something essential: to keep going, to trust the timing, and to continue pursuing my heart’s desire of becoming an artist.

"Standing Tall" was born from that moment. The painting transitions from deep blue at the bottom to warm orange and purple tones toward the top, echoing both the grounding and awakening I felt that day.
